With the Final Fantasy 7 Remake finally, here players are breezing through the game and having a blast doing it. Some gamers are completionists or just want to play every piece of content the game has to offer.

After beating the game, you’ll unlock the play log which shows various stats from music discs collected to the different dresses you can obtain in the game.

One stat is labeled as “Odd Jobs Completed” and a lot of players are confused as to how they only have 24 out of 26 odd jobs completed in FF7 after beating the game. Here’s how to go back and find those two missing odd jobs in FF7.

How to Find the Missing Odd Job Quests in FF7

After completing the game, if you have 24/26 odd job quests completed, then you’re more than likely missing one of the following quests. In Chapter 9: The Town That Never Sleeps, you face a choice after finishing the Colosseum.

Depending on which choice you make, you’ll be given one of two pairs of odd job quests. This pair of quests can only be completed after completing the game.

This is why you only have 24/26 odd jobs completed in FF7 after initially beating the game, you have to go back and finish the two odd jobs in order to fully complete the game.

You’ll need to go back to Chapter 9 and play through it again. When you encounter Chocobo Sam and his coin toss, the choice you make will affect which odd job quests you get.

Some players have found that not following Johnny during the game might also influence which set of quests you receive. So, if you want to experience all facets of the game, you might consider varying your interactions with Johnny during Chapter 9.

If you choose heads or tails, you’ll get the odd jobs The Party Never Stops and A Dynamite Body. If you pick no deal, you’ll get Madame M’s odd jobs The Price of Thievery and Shears’ Counterattack.

After you finish the little coin toss, play through the chapter as you did before. Once you finish the Colosseum, go to Madame M. She’ll give you the first odd job or tell you to go to Chocobo Sam and he will give you the first one. After you complete the first, you will be given the second odd job.

It’s important to note that there isn’t a Quest #25 or Quest #26 in the side quest menu. Instead, you will see two different #14 and #15 based on the choices you made with Chocobo Sam’s coin flip.

While the primary concern for most players is the set of quests based on the coin toss, there are other quests such as #23 “Corneo’s Secret Stash” and #24 “Subterranean Menace” that can be completed.

The Subterranean Menace quest can be obtained at the playground where all the Sector 7 refugees reside, and the Corneo’s Secret Stash quest can be picked up from a reporter, who is typically found in Sector 5.

We hope you enjoyed this little guide on how to fix the 24 out of 26 odd jobs completed in the new FF7 remake. Good luck getting the Best in the Business trophy!
