The Royal Ludroth is a water-type monster that looks like a reptile with a crown-like crest. The monster is weak against Fire and Thunder. The monster can be found in places such as Flooded Forest and Lava Caverns.

At lower ranks, you can find the monster as part of hub quests such as Fried and baptized and village quests such as Spongy Oasis. At higher ranks, you can find the monster during hub quests such as Charge Blade Coalescing and the Soaring Desire event quest. The following is what you need to know about dealing with the beast.

How To Beat The Royal Ludroth In Monster Hunter Rise

Monster Hunter Rise Royal Ludroth

The head and the mane are the weak spots of the monster. Ammo is the strongest against the head and cut is your best choice on the mane. Use these to deal the most amount of damage to these weak spots of the beast. When it comes to ailments, Blast and Fireblight are the most effective.

The Royal Ludroth has a couple of Ludroths with it. We recommend taking them out first so that they do not come in the way later on and you can focus on the Royal Ludroth. When taking on the boss, we recommend not doing so head-on. The boss is not agile and you can easily dodge its attacks by moving out of the way. You can easily attack its limbs and tail from behind.

Attacking the head with impact is going to stun the monster. Once the monster is staggered enough you can pick the Wyvern Riding option and run it into rocks. This is going to deal a lot of damage. As you damage the boss, its parts are going to come off and you can get extracts. When the parts are broken the Royal Ludroth will run away to a different area to recover.

Rinse and repeat until the HP of the monster has been drained. This is how you can beat Royal Ludroth in Monster Hunter Rise. If you are interested in learning more about the game then you can check out our guide on how you can beat the Bishaten.
