Hitman 3 is packed with some extremely tough challenges. These range from needing to poison all of your targets in a single room without being seen, to ensuring you kill someone with a piano. They are wild, and they’re part of what makes the series so much fun to play. In this guide, we’ll be covering how to complete the Hitman 3 Grapes of Wrath challenge. Trust us, this is a brilliant one to knock out in your next playthrough.
How to Complete the Hitman 3 Grapes of Wrath Challenge
This is a challenge that you need to complete in Mendoza. As you can probably tell by the name of it, it’s all about wine. Well, the grapes that will eventually become wine.
The requirement for this challenge is that you knock out an NPC by getting them to slip on a bunch of grapes. Never before has something sounded so complicated in a Hitman game. Don’t worry, we’ve got a path for you to follow.
Disguise and Knife
The first thing you’re going to need is a disguise, so head out of the standard spawn location and towards the path that leads down to the grapevines. There are two NPCs that you need to take out here. You can kill them both with the silenced pistol since we’re not trying to do a Silent Assassin run here.
You need to pick up the vineyard guard disguise here. Make sure you get the right one. It’s the pale blue outfit. Once you have it, you need to run down to the vineyard proper and get the harvesting knife. This is a specific tool that will allow you to cut a bunch of grapes from the vine.
Head to the large structure in the middle of the vineyard. No one will detect you through your disguise here. The knife is on a table inside this structure. Now that you’ve got it, it’s time to get to work.
Grapes
Head off into the fields and pick a bunch of grapes. This isn’t difficult, just walk up to them and press the action button prompt that comes up. The only requirement is that you have the knife, which you just picked up.
If you’re having trouble finding a bunch of grapes, use instinct to see them through the vineyard. They’re highlighted in yellow, so you should be able to see them pretty easily.
Now it’s time to put the plan together.
Setup the Trip
At this point, you need to go to the corner of the vineyard closest to the table where the chief winemaker will stand as part of the story mission The Tour. It’s the corner closest to the main building and rails where you can hop over.
Here, you need to find a generator. When you have, turn it on and ensure someone is distracted. You now only have a few seconds. Plant the grapes in the most logical path that the NPC will take to the generator.
All that’s left to do now is watch as the poor unsuspecting NPC walks over and slips on the grapes. That should trigger the Grapes of Wrath challenge to complete.
