Hitman 3 is a game full of challenges to complete and items to unlock. As you complete more challenges, you unlock new mastery levels, and therefore new starting locations and weapons to use in every location. In this guide, we’re looking at the Hitman 3 Estate Wines challenge. This one is from Mendoza and requires you to find all of the specific wine bottles in the area.
How to Complete the Hitman 3 Estate Wines Challenge
The first thing you must know is that this challenge is for Mendoza, not any other location. It makes sense since there’s a heavy focus on collectible wine in this area. If you’ve played the level a few times, you’ve no doubt used grapes or picking tools as weapons before. Maybe even a wine bottle itself.
To complete the challenge, you need to find all three wine bottles. Some of them are difficult, but you should be able to do it in a single playthrough if you’re careful.
Wine Bottle #1
This first wine bottle is in the reception area of Mendoza. You’ll see it if you enter the area next to the receptionist. The only way to grab the bottle is to do so when the receptionist isn’t looking. Sometimes he’ll be busy doing something else, but if he’s looking in your direction then she will always see you steal the bottle. Take it only when his back is turned.
Wine Bottle #2
The next bottle is nearby. It’s on a table just beyond the reception on the right-hand side. You’ll see it next to some customers as they drink their own wine from glasses. The best way to grab this bottle is just to take it. You can lose anyone who chases you by merging with the crowd and heading for the back exit. Once you’re out there, run away. You can hide over a ledge if you need to. Eventually, anyone that pursues you will give up looking and go back to their own business.
Wine Bottle #3
The final bottle of wine is one floor up from the reception area. Go back outside and up the stairs. There’s an outdoor bar here. The bottle of wine is behind the bar that you see as soon as you come up the last staircase. Walk through the doors and the wine is sitting on a table a few steps away.
Tips
The best way to complete this challenge is to play the mission in the waiter disguise. No one will question you picking up bottles of wine from any of the three locations if you do it as a waiter. In fact, it will look like you’re just going about your day doing your job.
If you don’t want to complete the entire main mission for the location just to pick up these three bottles, try to search for a player-created contract in the area. There should be at least one, and they’ll have a much easier target to assassinate. Just make sure you don’t take on an even more difficult challenge for yourself.
