Dom might just be the Villager that embodies most players in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. He’s a jock sheep Villager and was actually only introduced with Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Though he was later added to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. In this Animal Crossing: New Horizons Dom Villager Guide we’re going to cover everything there is to know about this lovable sheep.

Who is Dom?

Dom is a pink-skinned sheep with white wool, though he’s often seen wearing a rainbow tie-dye t-shirt. His hooves are white, which seems to go well with his overall colour scheme. This is something that a lot of players love about him.

Birthday

Dom’s birthday is March 18. On that day you’d be wise to pop over to his house and check in on him. He’ll probably be hanging out there all day, waiting for Villagers to pop by and wish him a happy birthday. If you do the same, you’re likely to get a cake. It should also do wonders for your relationship with him.

Dom’s Personality

As I mentioned above, Dom is a jock sheep Villager. This means his interests lie solely in being active and bodybuilding. Something he’s extremely vocal about. While jocks are often hyperactive and motivated, they also come across as dense and egotistical to others.

As a result, Dom will probably try to compete with players while fishing or catching bugs. So if you’re looking for a fun activity, challenge Dom to a match.

As a jock Villager, Dom is going to get on with sisterly, peppy, and cranky Villagers. His personality will be in direct conflict with lazy and snooty Villagers though. The fact that he can’t understand why someone would sit around doing nothing is a real source of tension.

Dom’s House

Dom’s house is one of the most normal you’ll come across in the game. From the outside, it looks like something any human would live in. It actually looks really nice.

When you head inside, the interior of Dom’s house isn’t actually that crazy. Sure, he has wallpaper that resembles the sky, but otherwise it looks like a garden. It’s exactly like Dom took his house, and brought the garden in with him. It might not make sense to you, but he’s a sheep, so he really wants grass and hay where he’s going to be spending most of his time.

Facts About Dom

Although no one has come out to say this directly, Dom is an icon for the LGBT+ community. Whether it’s because of his pink skin and horns, or the rainbow he wears on his t-shirt, he’s found a home with this community.

Over Pride Month in 2020, Dom shot to the top of the Animal Crossing Villager Popularity list. If that’s not the defining fact from this Animal Crossing: New Horizons Dom Villager Guide then I don’t know what is.

Dom isn’t afraid to be himself, and a lot of people are inspired by that. Twitch streamers and YouTubers alike adore him. Hopefully, the love for him continues over the years, because he really is such a wonderful character.
