Judy is one of the most popular Villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. In this Animal Crossing: New Horizons Judy Villager Guide we’re going to cover everything there is to know about one of the game’s most unique Villagers. Hopefully this will give you an idea of why she is so popular.

Since the game launched, Judy has been in the top ten most popular Villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. This means that her value has never dropped below 15-20 million Bells, or a few thousand Nook Miles Tickets, on the Animal Crossing black market.

Who is Judy?

Judy was first introduced in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. This is one of the reasons that she’s so popular, because you can’t just add her to your game with an Amiibo card. Her hobby is music, which can be both a blessing and a curse.

Judy might be a cub, but she’s one of the most unique looking Villagers in Animal Crossing history. Whilst her fur is pastel coloured, and very pleasing to look at, it’s her eyes that most players fall in love with. As you should have noticed just from looking at a picture of her, those eyes are literally stars that shine out of her head.

When she’s shocked, her eyes turn white with small dark blue irises, which are also unique to her. It’s these eyes alone that make her stand out. While she might have her own separate personality that is also fun to get to know, it’s definitely the eyes that you’ll be obsessing over.

Birthday

Judy’s birthday is March 10. Make sure you pop by her house on this day, which is where she’ll be hanging out all day with other Villagers. She’ll probably give you some cake, and if you give her a present it’ll pay off in your relationship with her later down the line.

Judy’s Personality

Judy has a snooty personality type. This means that she’s pretty obsessed with her makeup, and loves a good gossip. If you don’t like talking about your Villagers behind their backs, then maybe avoid having her on your island.

When you first meet her, and have her staying with you, Judy will actually be quite rude and arrogant towards you. Most of the time she’ll turn the conversation towards her, and her experiences in life. She’s also very much into talking about how the other Villagers look, and what they’re wearing. For the most part, she’ll just talk about the female Villagers though. Mostly these will be peppery, normal, or other snooty personality types.

After she’s been with you for a few days, and you’ve chatted to her a few times. Judy will warm up to you. Soon she’ll even start confiding in you. Don’t expect her to be polite though, that’s quite out of her capacity.

Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on the Villagers you have with you, Judy is never going to get on with lazy personality types. This is because they love to eat and don’t care about how they look. Judy is the total opposite, and it goes against every fibre of her being to like them.

Judy also won’t get along with any jock Villagers you have. They might take care of the way they look, but they’ll question Judy about her appearance, and she just hates that.

Cranky and normal personality types will get on well with Judy. This is because of who she is and how her personality makes her, so she will have at least one or two friends.

Judy’s House

You won’t find anything scary or odd about Judy’s house. What you will find is that it’s about as bland and boring as she is deep down though (sorry if you like her, but I really don’t).

The interior is filled with pastel coloured items such as the Wooden-Block series, and even the Old Fashioned Alarm Clock. She has a starry garland for wallpaper, which makes sense given her eyes, and a Dot Flooring. If nothing else, it looks like you could play an epic game of Twister in there.

Facts About Judy

Other that what I’ve covered above, there’s very little to Judy. I don’t personally understand why so many people want her, unless they’re die hard Animal Crossing fans. However, she does seem to be at the heart of most livestream or YouTube challenges. Check out just two that I found below.
