Pashmina is a sisterly goat Villager in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. She’s one of the most defensive-looking Villagers in the game, though this could all be because she’s a goat. They’re not known for being the calmest of animals in the world. Still, she’s actually a good addition to your island if you want her to hang around. You’ll benefit greatly from her personality. In this Animal Crossing: New Horizons Pashmina Villager Guide, we’ll cover everything there is to know about the Villager. We’ll also throw in some facts you probably didn’t know.

As we mentioned. Pashmina is a sisterly goat Villager. She looks to have been added in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, which was the game prior to New Horizons, so very recently. That’s okay though, because even new Villagers are welcomed. Her name comes from the scarf that shares the same name. It’s usually associate with being beautiful and made from luxurious fabric, so very good connotations with this Villager’s name then. The fiber itself is also obtained from goats, so that’s a very good link from the developers as well. Her Japanese name is Barbara, which comes from the “baa” noise that goats make. The phrase you’ll initially hear her say is derived from the name that goat babies have, Kids.

Birthday

Pashmina’s birthday is on December 26, Boxing Day. This is perhaps a little appropriate given that goats are always butting heads, a form of fighting that you could link to boxing if you really think about it. On this day, Pashmina is going to be hanging out in her house all day. She wants to celebrate with everyone, and they’ve all got to come and see her. This is usual in Animal Crossing: New Horizons though, and you have to join her too. She’ll be there all day, so you have the whole day to pop over and celebrate with her. We recommend doing so, because it’s an opportunity that you’ll miss out on and regret.

On the day, you can take part in the fun and games that will be going on at Pashmina’s house. These are always good for a distraction from normal Villager life. You’ll also get a cake for heading over to see her, something that will help you when it comes to building your island again later on. This is a powerful item, so hold onto it and save it for when you really need it. Finally, you can actually push your relationship level with Pashmina up if you visit her and give her a present. It’s a really easy way to show this Villager that you care about them, even if you don’t. Pashmina might even give you a gift over the following days as a result. Don’t count on it though because it’s nothing certain.

As we have mentioned, Pashmina has the sisterly personality type. This means that she’s all about helping you know how to fight and relax. It’s a weird combination we admit, but it’s what sisters do. Just go with it. With this personality type, Pashmina is also one of the few Villagers that will give you medicine after being stung by bees. It’s something all Sisterly Villagers do, so get her on your island if you’re constantly being stung. Pashmina is also tough, so there’s no chance of her being bullied. She still cares about the way she looks though, so compliment her if you see her.

One of the best parts of this Animal Crossing: New Horizons Pashmina Villager Guide is the knowledge that Pashmina is a night owl like you. She’ll often be up late at night looking for anyone trying to hurt you or cause trouble. It’s an endearing part of her personality that you’ll grow to love. She’s also incredibly easy to develop a relationship with. All Sisterly Villagers are, and that’s why she’s good to have around. If you want an easy result for maximum relationship status, work on her.

Pashmina is going to offer to fight everyone for you. This is who she is, and it’s lovely. Just don’t give her permission to do so. As a Sisterly Villager, she’ll get on well with jock, lazy, and peppy Villagers. However, she’ll hate snooty, cranky, and even some normal Villagers. This is because they’re not tough enough for her, and look weak or like they need protecting. It’s harsh, but it’s the reality of having a sisterly Villager on your island.

Pashmina’s Appearance

Pashmina looks very much like a goat, like you’d expect. She has brown fur, dark brown hands and feet, and a look of being incredibly bored on her face. She does have bright blue horns which separate her from everyone else on your Island. She’ll also turn up in a stripy jumper that’s probably too warm for anything but the coldest of winter nights. Still, she can wear what she wants to wear.

Pashmina’s House

The exterior of Pashmina’s house is great because it looks like a normal house. There’s nothing crazy going on here. It’s brown and very understated, which is exactly what you want if you have an island full of Villagers with wacky houses. It’s a good one if you’re trying to keep the houses blending in with the environment. You could easily hide it behind trees and never even realize that it’s there.

The interior of the house is basically a 50s diner. It’s even got an open sign over a counter that looks like it’s ready for anyone to be served at. The wallpaper is bright red, like a diner, and the flooring looks like what you’d get in any fast food establishment. Even the fridge and jukebox look like they’re fresh out of an American diner. If you love the 50s aesthetic, then this is a great house to get on your island and go over and hang out in. Just expect to talk about fighting.

Facts About Pashmina

There are no facts about Pashmina of note. The most interesting thing about her is the interior of her home. It seems so out of place given her nature, but then again, an older sister would be the most entrepreneurial in any form of fiction, so it makes sense to see it here.
