It’s though that the reason that his home is filled with children’s furniture and toys is because he’s just an amalgamation of various discarded childhood bears. But that’s quite a creepy thing to think about for too long.
Looking at Stitches, you wouldn’t know that he’s somewhat of a rarity. This is probably why he’s so desirable. He’s one of the few Villagers that isn’t actually an animal. Being a bear made from other toys, he’s just an object that’s been brought to life. Still, he’s nice to have around.
Birthday
Stitches’ birthday is on February 10. Make sure you visit his house on the day, because he’ll be holding a party there. It’s important to make the most of this opportunity to bond with him, because it’ll pay off in the long run when it comes to gifts and help.
Stitches’ Personality
Stitches is a lazy Villager. This makes him pretty easy to get on with, because he’s such a laid back dude. He’ll talk to you all day about resting and eating, and that might be a dream if you enjoy that kind of thing. He even loves fishing, which is great if you need company while collecting new fish.
Stitches might offend the jock Villagers you have on your island, because their lifestyles revolve around fitness and being active. Of course, he’ll get on well with all the other lazy Villagers. With them he actually starts to talk about comics and superheroes, which is really cool to see inside a game like Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
His personality also allows him to get on with peppy, smug, normal, and sisterly Villagers. However, he’ll clash up against cranky and snooty Villagers, who disagree with his lazy lifestyle.
Stitches’ House
The exterior of Stitches’ House is fine. It’s a house. But the interior is an absolute nightmare. It seems like all of the bears that Stitches is made from have some sort of need to be loved again. As a result they’ve completely surrounded themselves with children’s toys.
Even the wall is Playroom themed, as is the flooring. I find it a very unsettling place to be. But it’s a small price to pay to have one of the most sought after Villagers in the world on your island.
Facts About Stitches
The Animal Crossing: New Horizons community tends to latch onto certain aspects of Villagers. With Stitches, they latched onto the fact that he comes out with some of the weirdest things. If he doesn’t notice you, he’ll also just babble or sing to himself, for a very long time. This video is the best one I could find that does him justice.
