If you’ve ever played a souls game developed by FromSoftware, then you’ve probably heard of Sparkly the Crow, or at least some sort of Crow vendor. This is a unique concept to souls games, and it all started with Demon’s Souls. Now, in the remake, we’ve got the latest, and I think best, iteration of this vendor. they’re somewhere between a character and a mechanic. In this guide, we’ll cover everything there is to know about them so you’re never confused when someone mentions them.

Where is Sparkly the Crow in Demon’s Souls?

As with all things in Demon’s Souls, half the battle is finding what you’re looking for. With this vendor, you need to play quite a bit of the game before you can even hope to trade with them.

They’re located in the Shrine of Storms. You need to get the highest level, and the highest point within that level, just to speak with them. There’s a huge tree which you should be looking for. At the top of the tree is a nest. This is where you need to get to. The easiest route is to head out from the tower which leads to the Lone Skeleton Archer. There’s an exit which leads to some clifftops. That’s the way to the nest.

Once you’re at the nest, you’ll hear someone asking for “Sparkly, Twinkly” items. This is the vendor you’re looking for.

The concept of this vendor is pretty simple. They’ll trade items that you drop for new items. You need to go into your inventory and physically drop the items in the nest. Once you’ve done that, you need to exit the game and come back into it. Once at the nest, you’ll see a new item has been placed by the vendor right where you left your old ones.

Below is a list of all the possible trades you can make with this vendor. Please bear in mind that you can only make each trade once. When you’ve traded them all, the vendor will stop talking to you. It’s sad, but also very useful.
